Playback on this device

Remote control and local playback are separate capabilities.

In controller mode, Luuster sends commands to an existing Music Assistant player such as a network speaker, browser player, or another application. The audio does not pass through the Luuster device.

The project contains mobile and desktop playback foundations, but local playback still requires integration and hardening before it should be documented as a stable feature. The intended result is for the Luuster device to become an addressable Music Assistant player.

A platform-agnostic Dart Sendspin client is being developed separately. Its future integration is intended to support synchronized player behavior while keeping transport and audio-engine concerns cleanly separated.
