Luuster is in early development and public-release preparation.
Demonstrated foundation
Section titled “Demonstrated foundation”- token-based server connection;
- persisted authentication;
- server-fed home content;
- compact and expanded player surfaces;
- remote play and pause;
- queue viewing;
- desktop window-frame work;
- explicit route ownership and shared close/back behavior.
Active work
Section titled “Active work”- completing the Subsistant-to-Luuster rename;
- preparing a clean public GitHub snapshot;
- stabilizing the adaptive Material and Fluent UI architecture;
- improving error, loading, and empty states;
- making the repository reproducibly buildable without unpublished sibling paths;
- packaging initial development builds;
- replacing website mockups with current screenshots.
Longer-term direction
Section titled “Longer-term direction”- Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS targets;
- Luuster as a local Music Assistant player;
- Sendspin player and controller integration;
- Android Auto support;
- richer audiobook and Audiobookshelf-assisted behavior;
- additional media sources after the Music Assistant foundation is stable.
